NVG Compatible Filters

Consolite has access to the most complete range of filter materials anywhere, including plastics and glass, and absorption or dichroic coated types. This is backed up by the capability to analyse and design the optimal solution for any specific light source in both internal and external environments and to meet any of the various international specifications such as MIL-STD-3009, STANAG 3800 and STANAG 1445 as well as specific customer requirements.

Filters have been developed for the complete range of aircraft cockpit lighting applications such as instrument lights, panel lighting, illuminated displays and floodlights, as well as for exterior lighting on both aircraft and ships. The latter includes filters for very demanding flight deck lighting applications. Consolite also manufactures a unique range of plastic filters for fluorescent lamps, providing full NVG compatibility without the need to modify light fittings.

Filters can also be supplied with anti-reflection coatings for use on instrument displays and with conductive ITO coatings where EMC is a requirement.
