Consolite has access to possibly the most complete range of filter materials available anywhere, including plastics or glass, and absorption or coated interference types. This is backed up by our in-house capability to analyse and design the optimal solution for any specific light source in both internal and external environemnts, and to meet any of the various international standards and specifications such as MIL-STD-3009, DO-275, STANAG 3800 and DEF STAN 02-587 Part 3, as well as other customer specific requirements.

Filters have been developed for the complete range of aircraft cockpit lighting applications such as instrument lights, panel lighting, illuminated displays and floodlights, as well as for vehicle interior lighting, instruments and displays, and for exterior lighting on both aircraft and ships. Consolite has developed, with its partner Korry, a unique material type known as NS Glass, combining the benefits of glass and polymeric filter materials into one filter.

Filters can also be supplied with anti-reflection coatings for use on instrument displays and with conductive ITO coatings, or with a metal mesh incorporated, where EMC is a requirement.
