Nightshield® is a range of durable NVG compatible plastic filter materials designed to block infra-red light emitted by displays and illuminated components. Nightshield® filters are used in many military and civilian applications, including fixed wing, rotary wing and maritime NVG crew station retrofits, emergency medical helicopters, search and rescue helicopters, police and military vehicles, ships, boats and hand-held devices.

Consolite maintains extensive stock of many standard Korry Nightshield® materials and, using our in-house laser cutting facility, we can provide components cut to size in a matter of days. Some of the range of Korry Nightshield® materials can be seen on the Korry web site, but special requirements can also be accommodated. The latest addition to the Korry range is NS Glass, a unique hybrid of glass and polymer that combines the benefits of both.

Consolite has a full NVIS design and test capability and can evaluate components and assemblies to MIL-STD-3009 and other relevant specifications. We will be pleased to advise on design options.
