Consolite offers a "build to print" assembly service. This is often requested by customers as a follow on to production of a specialist lighting item, where this needs to be built into a larger assembly. Our large, modern assembly shop can provide a cost effective and highly reactive way forward.

A good example is provided by an aerial refuelling lighting system. Initially Consolite was asked to design, develop and manufacture a set of NVG compatible LED illuminators. This was successfully achieved and was then followed by a request to build the wiring loom, and eventually to build the complete air driven generator assembly to power them.

Consolite takes on the entire process of sourcing parts and materials, assembly and then test, all to the customer drawings and BOM. The benefits to the customer are a reduction in overheads and complexity in procurement, and a reduced requirement for skilled assembly staff.
